What is Tegus?

Tegus connects institutional investors with the world’s leading Advisors for hour long phone conversations. All conversations are recorded, transcribed, and indexed on our platform for clients to access.

Who are Tegus clients?

Tegus works with public market investors including hedge funds, mutual funds, family offices, long only funds, etc.

What are the advantages to participating in a call?

Tegus compensates Advisors for their time during 1on1 conversations with clients. Conversations also provide Advisors an opportunity to secure further work including short and long term engagements, gain exposure to an exclusive client base, and learn investor perspectives.

Are calls recorded?

Yes. All Tegus calls are recorded and transcribed for clients to access the content of the call. Recordings and transcripts are also required for compliance reason and our Compliance team reviews each transcript prior to uploading to the platform to help safeguard against material non-public information and/or confidential information.

Will my name by publicised on external platforms?

No. Your name will not be available on the platform without your prior consent and authorization. Your employment history and bio will be available for clients to view on the platform.

Is there anything I should not discuss on the call?

Advisors are trained on complete an interactive quiz on material non-public information, confidential information, and inside information. Advisors should only discuss their view points, opinions, or public information with clients. Please refer to the Advisor Agreement and Compliance Training Materials for more insight or reach out to Tegus Compliance with any questions.

Who can view a transcript?

Transcripts are uploaded to our platform for all clients to access. The platform is not an open or public forum and transcripts are not to be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of Tegus.

How do I get paid?

You will be paid via ACH, physical check, or PayPal

When can I expect payment?

You will be prompted to enter payment details directly after a call and can typically expect payment within 3 - 5 business days.

What is the time commitment?

Typical 1on1 calls last for 45 to 60 minutes.

What does the client want to know?

Clients turn to Tegus’ Advisors when they are looking to get up to speed on new companies and industries or looking to dig deeper on specific questions.

Will there be other opportunities after this call?
